Meet MaxPoint's President

Dr. Frank Banfill

Dr. Frank Banfill is the founder and president of MaxPoint Missions.  He leads MaxPoint's team and also challenges churches and individuals to realize their full potential in Christ.  "My role is that of a mobilizer--one who helps put people into motion.  Too many lives are stagnant.  They are not growing.  They are not striving to improve themselves.  They are letting life pass them by when they could be harnessing it to make a positive difference in themselves and the world," said Dr. Banfill.

Dr. Banfill has spoken to tens of thousands of people, worked with hundreds of organizations and trained numerous leaders across six continents.  He also has helped start dozens of churches.  Prior to starting MaxPoint, Dr. Banfill served with a short-term missions agency leading a team that each year recruited thousands of volunteers to serve third world and developing countries. Before starting his missionary career in 1998, he ministered as the senior pastor at an Ohio church.

A prolific writer, Dr. Banfill has developed hundreds of Bible studies and devotionals, including summaries of every chapter in the New Testament. He has appeared in a number of national and international media outlets including Moody Broadcasting Network, Salem Radio News, USA Radio Network, American Family Radio, Power FM, KVTT, FamilyNet Radio, Mission Network News, CDR Radio Network, and the Wylie News, among others.

Dr. Banfill holds the PhD in Global Leadership with a concentration in Organizational Management from Indiana Institute of Technology. His dissertation focused on effective leadership in Africa. He is also a graduate of Liberty University and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Virginia

Dr. Banfill is married to Beth, who he met on a college missions trip to Australia.  They have two children, one in college and one in high school, and reside near Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Banfill is available for speaking, research, and consulting engagements. Contact us for more information.
